The Public Works Director plans, directs, manages, and oversees the activities and operations of the Public Works Department including Water, Sewer, Streets, Shop, Refuse, and Facilities Maintenance; coordinates activities with other City departments and outside agencies; and provides complex administrative support to the City Manager and Department Heads. Supervises, manages and coordinates with Division Superintendents. CLASSIFICATION: FULL-TIME, OVERTIME EXEMPT, SALARIED AND CONFIDENTIAL SALARY: $90,000 – $123,000 ANNUALLY, DOE HOURS: MON-FRI OFFICE HOURS, 0800 – 1700 QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or Law. Combination of education and experience may be considered as an equivalent. Two years of administrative and supervisory experience. Valid driver’s license.
